Don't be afraid, my sweetheart
This is the way to be more strong
Harbor my deep secret
It makes me so blue
Run through this game before my body is dry
WARNING: very mild gore
To his right, Reiner could see the sun ready to peak over the horizon. The light it emitted created a red, orange, and purple gradient that stretched as far as the eye could see. Although the sunrays heated his skin, Reiner could feel himself turn cold.
You were still nowhere to be found.
He's been searching and searching and calling out your name but you still haven't showed. Worry turned into despair, and Reiner's sanity was slowly disintegrating. There was always that option of biting his hand and transforming into a titan, but he didn't want to scare you anymore. What if you were in danger though? What if you were in the hands of a titan at this very moment and-
Reiner called out your name again, his voice hoarse from straining it for hours on end. Oh God, was he so desperate to find you and hold you and care for you...
The sun continued to rise, and Reiner knew he was running out of time. Should he just give up....?
No. He shook his head. He couldn't give up now. He couldn't give up on you.
Reiner continued onward. He realized just how vast the forest was, and he couldn't help but wonder how far you had gotten through here; how you twisted and turned your way through the endless amount of trees that currently obscured his vision. There was no trail that led out, nor did any lead into the forest. You could still be running, Reiner thought, either either away or towards him. He prayed for the latter.
Reiner lost track of the sun, which most likely meant it was closer to noon than it was dawn. Reiner suddenly felt the fatigue he'd been harboring for the last few hours and collapsed against the trunk of the nearest tree. His heart and mind screamed for him to continue, but his muscles opposed that option.
I have to....I have to keep....going!
A low grumble startled him. To his left, no more than five feet away, stood a ten-meter class titan. It's large, dark eyes bore down on Reiner as if it was analyzing his every move. Reiner closed his eyes.
He had to do what he had to do. He brought his hand up to his lips and bit down just hard enough to draw blood. He felt energy surge through his entire being as he was enveloped in a cocoon of thick flesh and armor. He continued to grow until it was he who bore down on the other titan.
Reiner was the first to make a move. He sent one powerful blow against the titan's stomach that sent it flying into a few trees. It stared at Reiner, clueless of what was happening. Reiner would have delivered a final blow, however he had ulterior motives. In one hand he held the titan by the neck while the other hand forced its way through the titan's pot belly. The titan didn't move an inch; instead, it cocked its head to the side in wonder. Reiner then used both hands to rip the skin and muscle, revealing the mass of bones and organs underneath. Organs went flying left and right until Reiner found his objective: the stomach. It was huge; through the thin tissue he could see the abundance of animals that the titan had swallowed hole. He ripped the tissue and searched through the heap of dead flesh.
Please don't be in here. Please don't be in here. Please don't be in here.
Relief washed over him. You were nowhere to be found. Reiner averted his attention back to the titan, who had apparently found his own organs appealing and decided to munch on them. Reiner growled, grabbed the titan, and with his teeth, took a chunk of flesh out the nape of its neck. The titan ceased movement.
After departing his titan form, Reiner felt even more fatigued than before. His muscles and the skin of his cheeks burned, and he noticed he was running low on supplies. There was no time to waste, though. Your safety and well-being was more important that his own.
Suddenly, the ground shook and a great flash of light came from somewhere behind him. What the hell.....?
Reiner froze. He knew what this meant. He knew what was happening.
Someone was transforming into a titan.
Reiner both felt anxious and relieved, for he could bet that the person that was transforming was his friend Annie. But why did she decide to transform? Annie only transformed when it was absolutely needed....
Reiner was too fatigued to transform himself, so he decided to make his way through the woods as best he could. As he grew closer to where the light just recently was, he could feel the ground shake under the massive weight of titans stomping and falling to the ground....
There were several of them, Reiner noticed, and they were all after Annie's fifteen-meter class form. She was able to kick some back, but it wasn't enough to stop them from crawling back towards her. Reiner took note of how she was only fighting with one hand; the other covering the nape of her neck.
Reiner bit his hand and charged towards the group of titans. He drove his shoulder into one, sending it far into the woods, then pummeled another until its face was unrecognizable. Annie grabbed one by the head and bashed its skull against a tree trunk, its blood tainting her heated muscle and the forest floor below. Both Annie and Reiner continued their monstrous massacre until not one single titan remained.
The two stared at each other; Annie's icy blue eyes sending shivers down Reiner's spine. You would think Reiner would be able to withstand her, especially in his titan form, but there was just something in her glare that caused his stomach to sink.
She removed her hand from the nape of her neck. It was balled into a fist until she opened it before Reiner.
There nestled in the palm of her hand was Bertholdt. He raised his head, his shoulders visibly relaxing upon realizing the danger was dead and gone. He waved at Reiner before turning and helping the person behind him stand.
It was you.

Levi X Titan! Reader Chapter 6
''It's.....crying'' The emerald eyed boy said, eyes wide in shock and surprise, not expecting your sudden action. All the other humans just stared at you with the same expressions apart from the shortest human, who had the same look on his face as before. You were still sobbing, your hands covering your wet face as tears still continued to fall.
Hesitantly, the shortest man put his swords away before proceeding to say:
''That things crying like a shitty brat, I doubt it will kill us in it's current state''
A nod of agreement came from the tall blonde man, and he asked:
''What should we do then, Levi?''
By now you had calm down, but your

You then stretched your legs out and laid yourself lay down, surrounding the weary human who was still unsure of the situation.
However, it wasn't long before he had finished his last fish and awkwardly looked up to you.
''Um, I n-need to sleep'' Armin whispered throwing the fish bones into the fire. You gently crooned before slowly extending your hand, picking the blonde haired boy and proceeded to place him in the crook of your neck.

Thud. Thud. THUD. The heavy impact of your huge feet echoed on the ground as you walked forwards, still following the humans who has found their horses on the outskirts of the forest. You had been following them for half an hour through the said forest, nervous and wary that one of them might suddenly turn and kill you.
Armin was on his brown horse riding next to you with, occasionally glancing in your direction, noting your discomfort but not saying anything as he didn't know how to make you feel less nervous.
There was no words spoken, just an empty silence in the air as you and the humans traveled with a quick pace, occasional whispers e

oh my gosh ITS HERE
after all these years wow
So the lyrics at the beginning are from the Kill la Kill OST (Before My Body is Dry is the song title). I literally had that song on repeat as I wrote this, and I kind of felt that those lyrics somewhat related to this story; how Reiner doesn't want Reader to be afraid, and she harbors his secret and he sees that it's hurting her, and he's willing to put his life in danger for her.
thank you for waiting patiently i know it hurts waiting for a fic to update
and i sort of left you all with a cliffhanger haha.. . .... ....
p.s i know for some the gore in here wouldn't bother them, but i know not everyone is the same, and that there are people who don't like gore AT ALL and may find some of it disturbing (especially since i mentioned that the titan ate animals)
